Expert in Film Law, Commercial Law and Company Compliance.

After successfully passing the Bar Exam at the Court of Appeal of Venice, he is an expert in Film Law and assists movie production companies, both independent and non, among Venice, Rome and Udine.
He has also, for more than five years, been working as an in-house Legal Manager for Italian listed companies and Italian branches of international groups, taking care of all legal and compliance matters.

Education

Graduated with top honors in Law at the University of Padua, with a thesis in Tax Law on “Fiscal profiles of movie production and distribution”, he finished his academic path one year in advance.
He was awarded the Prize for Best Graduate in Law for the Academic Year 2016 from the Dean of the University of Padua.
He started his experience as a trainee lawyer in firms specialized in Civil and Administrative Law as well as a judicial clerk ex art. 73, Italian d.l. 69/2013, at the Court of Appeal of Venice, through the tutoring of Justice Maura Caprioli, now Judge of the Supreme Court, during which he was able to focus on Commercial and Contract Law, and Intellectual Property.
Specialized in Entertainment Law, with a particular focus in Film Law, he keeps on studying the subject by attending seminars and writing scientific articles.

Assignments, Teachings and Collaborations

After three years as in-house Legal Counsel for OVS S.p.A., in which he was Head of Intellectual Property, he was called to act as Legal & Compliance Manager for the Italian division of DFS Group, a maison of the LVMH Group, at the Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice. He was thus able to manage the Italian legal department, taking care of all legal and compliance matters (Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering), as well as the implementational of the Organizational ex Italian d.lgs. 231/2001.
He currently acts as a counsel of several movie production and distribution companies, between Venice, Rome and Udine, for which he manages the drafting and negotiation of agreements as well as the development, also from a creative point of view, of new projects; he is also Legal Counsel for the Italian branch of an European leading group in the online food grocery shopping field.
